Intracoastal Diving provides professional underwater hull cleaning services for private powerboats, sailboats, and yachts, with routine maintenance services focused in the Southside Hampton Roads area, including Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth.
This core service area allows us to respond efficiently for scheduled maintenance while maintaining consistent availability for regular private vessel clients. We also support expanded service areas by request, including emergency response, special circumstances, and one-off service needs outside our routine coverage zone.
Intracoastal Diving regularly works with transient vessels traveling the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and understands the time sensitivity often involved when owners are passing through the region.
Private vessel hull cleaning services include removal of soft marine growth and light-to-moderate hard growth from hull bottoms, sides, and underwater appendages. All services are performed in-water using vessel-appropriate methods designed to preserve bottom paint and minimize unnecessary wear.

- Base Hull Cleaning Rate: $3.70 per foot
- Anode Replacement (Dive Labor Only): $135
- Additional Dive Time: $155 per hour
Salvage & Sunken Vessel Recovery
Intracoastal Diving provides rapid-response salvage support and sunken vessel recovery services, when conditions allow for vessels of varying size and complexity throughout Hampton Roads and the Mid-Atlantic.
Our team utilizes salvage lift bags, high-capacity water pumps, and controlled underwater rigging systems to stabilize, dewater, and recover partially or fully submerged vessels.
Salvage and recovery services may include emergency stabilization, lift-bag recovery, dewatering, underwater rigging and lift coordination, damage assessment, and temporary securing or relocation following recovery.
Intracoastal Diving has the experience and operational understanding to coordinate directly with vessel owners, marinas, shipyards, and insurance companies during time-sensitive recovery efforts.
